The single leaf pedestrian swing gate is suitable for openings up to 2m, depending on height and infill. Manual pedestrian gates are provided with a drop bolt, handles and profile cylinder lock. The optional electro-mechanical drive system is capable of continuous operation and, for safety purposes, is mounted at the top of the hanging post.
The high quality hinges are adjustable and have bronze bearings for long life and ease of operation. The drives and operating arms can be arranged to allow the gate leaf to swing through any angle up to 180º.
The fully programmable EP104/1 control panel is normally installed behind a lockable steel door inside the hanging post but can be supplied in a separate weatherproof enclosure for remote mounting. The pedestrian gate is locked by the drive system, however an electro-magnetic lock can also be added if required.
All our pedestrian swing gates are bespoke and are manufactured to specific site requirements. They have long term corrosion protection, comply with current safety requirements and come complete with fail safe buffers and photo-cells if required.
